This notice is to inform all end users and partners that TIBCO is officially announcing the end of support for TIBCO BusinessEvents 1.4.0 (and older versions). This EOS action will take effect on Jan 15, 2009.
For most customers, version 1.4.0 (and older versions) is already outside of the "active support window" as per our standard support policy. TIBCO BusinessEvents 1.4.0 has been obsolete since Nov 2007.
The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you upgrade, as soon as possible, to a supported version of the product. At the time of this notification, TIBCO BusinessEvents 3.0 is the currently shipping version of the product, and the supported versions are 2.0, 2.1, 2.1.1, 2.2 and 3.0
Service Requests on TIBCO BusinessEvents version 1.4.0 (and older) will no longer be accepted after the EOS date of Jan 15, 2009.
No standard packages are being offered for Extended Support at this time. However, if you have special circumstances, please discuss these circumstances with your TIBCO Account Executive.
