On April 30, 2008, TIBCO announced its plans to retire TIBCO SmartSockets SSL.  This notice is to inform all end users and partners that TIBCO will cease providing maintenance services for TIBCO SmartSockets SSL on October 31, 2009.  Maintenance services for TIBCO SmartSockets SSL will continue in full force and effect according to the terms of your agreement with TIBCO until October 31, 2009. As of November 1, 2009, your company’s maintenance services for TIBCO SmartSockets SSL will terminate.

During the retirement phase, TIBCO Support will continue to service these products as explained in our Support and Maintenance agreement, with the exception that enhancements will no longer be made to the product.

We encourage you to contact your TIBCO Account Executive with any questions you may have about this notice and to find out about alternative support options or migration strategies, which may be available and applicable to you.  

Please note that no other TIBCO SmartSockets® product is affected by this retirement notice for TIBCO SmartSockets SSL.
