Effective November 1, 2013, TIBCO is officially ending support for release 3.3.x of the TIBCO Spotfire product family. This includes the following products:

•    TIBCO Spotfire Automation Services
•    TIBCO Spotfire Clinical
•    TIBCO Spotfire Developer
•    TIBCO Spotfire Professional/Enterprise Player
•    TIBCO Spotfire Qualification
•    TIBCO Spotfire Web Player


Please note, this does not announce the retirement of the following TIBCO products/versions, and does not affect their maintenance services:

•    TIBCO Spotfire Server 3.3.x
•    TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Server (the predecessor to TIBCO Spotfire Server)
•    TIBCO Spotfire Connector for Pipeline Pilot
•    TIBCO Spotfire DecisionSite product family
•    TIBCO Spotfire Network Analytics
•    TIBCO Spotfire Operations Analytics



This action will take effect on November 1, 2013.  The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you upgrade, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product.  Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (http://download.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.

During the next 10 months, Support will answer product questions, but enhancements and service pack releases will not be provided.

Service Requests on 3.3.x will no longer be accepted after November 1, 2013. Service Requests under investigation for the releases being retired will be closed as of the retirement date, November 1, 2013.

TIBCO Support Knowledge Base articles will continue to be available from the TIBCO Support Web and existing hot fixes will continue to be available from the TIBCO Spotfire Support Web Site to all customers beyond the retirement date.
