Log Level
In the SDMS Admin Console, error logging can be turned on and the level of logging can be set.
To set the log level follow these steps:
1.Open the SDMS admin console by clicking Start | All Programs | SDMS | SDMS Administration.
2. Click on arrows to open STATISTICA Document Management (local), then open System Settings and select Logging.
3. Double-click the Log Level to setup the properties. Logging is turned on by default and only the log level can be changed. Manually change the log level to 4 for the maximum amount of information to be logged.
Buffered logging can also be changed, if desired. A description of this is below.
Buffered Logging
Select the Logging settings group and double-click Buffered Logging to display the Properties dialog for this system setting. Logging settings are used to configure the location and contents of the SDMS log file.
Use this system setting to specify whether log entries are recorded individually as events happen or if they are buffered.
By default this value is set to True. Entries to the log file are buffered and written periodically. When this value is set to False, the log file is written to disk after every log entry is made.
This is a Boolean system setting, expected values are either True or False.
You are not required to restart after changing this system setting.
Log File Path
Typical log file path is C:\Program Files (x86)\StatSoft\SDMS\Data\LogFiles\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SDMS\Data\LogFiles\
