Description

Here are two frequently encountered errors when using RADIUS authentication with associated guidance for what each error means and how to resolve it.

2008-10-30 01:25:12,662 [http-10443-2] ERROR Unspecified error net.sourceforge.jradiusclient.exception.RadiusException: Authenticators do not match, response packet not validated!

This means the SEM host did not use the proper shared key as what the RADIUS server was expecting so the recommendation is to verify the shared key being used on both the SEM and RADIUS server.

2008-10-30 01:33:21,032 [http-10443-2] ERROR Unspecified error net.sourceforge.jradiusclient.exception.RadiusException: Receive timed out

This error means that the proper host IP and/or port were not specified so the request was sent out but no response was received so the request timed out. Confirm the IP of your RADIUS server. By default RADIUS uses port 1812.
