Description

The TIBCO Scribe® Insight Adapter for Salesforce provides a means to interface with the Salesforce application. If you are unable to see standard Salesforce objects, such as Account, Contact, and Leads, via the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench when using the Connection as a Source or Target, you may be using the wrong Salesforce URL.

Issue/Introduction

Unable to see standard Salesforce objects, such as Account, Contact, and Leads, via the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench when using the Connection as a Source or Target.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have refreshed the Salesforce (SF) Metadata from the SF connection(follow the 6 step process below):

  1. Open a browser and navigate to the Salesforce login page for your Salesforce account.
  2. Check the URL in the address bar of your browser.
  3. Use the URL in the address bar to configure your Salesforce Connection in the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench. See Connecting to Salesforce in the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Help.

NOTE: Make sure that you are not using a Salesforce Sandbox account, which would have a URL starting with https://test.salesforce.......
Salesforce Sandbox accounts cannot be used with the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Adapter for Salesforce.
