Description
We have been getting daily e-mails for the past few weeks from the Administrator 'Credential Expiry Alerter' about an expired internal certificate.
However, the problem is that when we review, the "Owner" of that certificate is not an actual Participant in the system, not even the Host Participant. In fact, the name is "bmh_outto_pp_jms_", which we do not recognize from anywhere in our configuration. So we have nowhere we can go to remove or update this expired certificate, and thus no way to stop the Expiry Alerter e-mails from coming.
Issue/Introduction
Add the new certificate in BC Certificate Store - server identities and update in the PP JMS configuration.
Environment
Windows Server 2012 R2
Resolution
bmh_outto_pp_jms_ is used for the PP JMS certificate.
Add the new certificate/delete the expired certificate from : BusinessConnect > System Settings > Certificate Store > Server identities & Certificates TAB. We should be able to see the expired certificate here.
Then go update the new cert in : Application Management > BusinessConnect > Configuration > BusinessConnect > Private Process Configuration > JMS > JMS Server Certificate
