Description
Unable to import or display columns of data type UUID when connecting to a PostgreSQL data source using Spotfire Data Connector or Spotfire Information Services. Spotfire Information Services may throw errors like the following:
Failed to execute data source query for data source "UUIDtest". (HRESULT: 80131500)
Failed to execute query: Unsupported JDBC data type in query result: uuid (HRESULT: 80131509)
In the Spotfire Data Connector for PostgresSQL, columns of data type UUID are not displayed in the "Columns in selected view" section.

Resolution
Spotfire does not import or display columns of data type UUID (universally unique identifier). Existing enhancement requests ask for this capability to be added to Spotfire Information Services and to the Spotfire Data Connector for PostgresSQL.
