Description
Spotfire reports with custom query scripts may fail to save in the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client with the following error message:
Internal error: The CustomQuery: 'QueryName' was not allowed to execute because it is not trusted.
Issue/Introduction
Unable to save reports with an error message of " The CustomQuery: 'QueryName' was not allowed to execute because it is not trusted."
Resolution
To resolve, ensure that the user who is saving the report is a member of the "Custom Query Author" group, or that a member of "Custom Query Author" group has already trusted the scripts to library or locally before saving the reports.
Note: If there is an open TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client session on the end-users machine while the license change are being made (i.e adding the user to the "Custom Query Author" group), ensure all the existing Spotfire client sessions are closed and then reopened for the license changes to take effect.
