The following warning is seen when starting a StreamBase application that uses the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (TREP) adapters:

Warnings received when starting a StreamBase application that uses the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (TREP) adapters.

Resolution

This is related to a Java defect that has not been resolved as of JDK 8.  

To work around this issue, you may manually create the required registry entry..

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs

..using regedit.
