What version of TIBCO LiveView™ Web Enterprise Edition (LVWeb) should I use with my installed version of TIBCO® Live Datamart (LDM)?

Version compatibility guidance

Products

LiveView Web (LVWeb) versions 1.3.2 through 1.6.0
StreamBase (SB) version 7.x
Live Datamart (LDM) versions 2.x
TIBCO Streaming (Str) versions 10.x

Live Datamart and StreamBase versions are paired, for example LDM 2.2.4 was shipped with SB 7.7.4.
 

Product Packaging

Starting with LDM 10.1.0 a paired version of LVWeb is included for development use in the LDM installer and is used automatically by the product samples. You are encouraged to use the paired version of LVWeb.

When you run LVWeb the version is shown at the bottom of the browser window. You can identify the version of LVWeb used by a LDM 10.x project in StreamBase Studio by looking at the dependencies in the project Maven pom.xml file.

Although newer versions of LVWeb may work with your LDM version, not all version pairings are tested. Untested pairings are assumed incompatible.

• Compatible: Str 10.6.1, 10.6.0, 10.5.0, 10.4.5
• Incompatible:
  • Versions after Str 10.6.1
  • Versions of Str 10.4.0 and prior
  • All SB 7.x versions.
• All other versions not tested and assumed incompatible.

LiveView Web 1.5.0 

• Compatible: Str 10.5.0, 10.4.5, 10.4.4, 10.4.3, LDM 2.2.6 (SB 7.7.6)
• Incompatible:
  • Versions after LDM 2.2.6 (SB 2.2.6)
  • Versions of Str 10.4.0 and prior, LDM 2.2.5 (SB 7.7.5) and prior
• All other versions not tested and assumed incompatible.

LiveView Web 1.4.1

• Compatible: LDM 2.2.5, 2.2.4, 2.2.3
• Incompatible:
  • Versions of LDM 2.2.6 (SB 7.7.5) and after, all Str versions 
  • Versions of LDM 2.2.2 (SB 7.7.2) and prior
• All other versions not tested and assumed incompatible.

LiveView Web 1.4.0

• Compatible: LDM 2.2.4, 2.2.3
• Incompatible:
  • Versions of LDM 2.2.5 (SB 7.7.5) and after, all Str versions 
  • Versions of LDM 2.2.2 (SB 7.7.2) and prior
• All other versions not tested and assumed incompatible.

LiveView Web 1.3.2

• Compatible: LDM 2.2.4, 2.2.3, 2.2.2, 2.2.1, 2.2.0, 2.1.8, 2.1.7
• Incompatible:
  • Versions of LDM 2.2.5 (SB 7.7.5) and after not tested
  • LDM 2.1.6 (SB 7.6.6)
  • All Str versions
