Description

What does DataBlockStorage_MaxProcessSizeLimit stands for in TIBCO Spotfire Web Player and is it supported to change that setting?

Issue/Introduction

This article describes what does DataBlockStorage_MaxProcessSizeLimit stand for in the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player settings and diagnostics and if it is supported to be changed.

Resolution

The DataBlockStorage_MaxProcessSizeLimit setting is used to limit the amount of data in each process. This setting comes into play when multiple worker processes on the same server compete against each other to get more RAM allocation. This setting limits the memory allocated to each individual process.

It is not recommended to modify this setting. Modifying this setting may result in not utilizing the memory completely and running into out of memory issues. The default value for this setting is 100.
