The first option impacts both spreadsheets that are prompted in the current session and newly created spreadsheets in new sessions.
1. Click Tools tab|Audit Trail.
2. Select the check box for "Enable audit trail logging" .
Note: Once logging is enabled, the log can be turned off again by clearing this check box. If the system is running under Statistica Enterprise, only a user with Administrator permissions can change the log file settings. Also, if the logging feature is locked (Tools - Locking), you must unlock the logging feature before the log service can be stopped or started. See Lock Spreadsheet for more details.
3.
Optional: Select the check box for "Require Users to enter reason comments on each change" when desired.
4. Click OK.
The second option impacts spreadsheets only on newly created spreadsheets.
Note: The second option overwrites the first option for turning on/off auditing on newly created spreadsheets. 1. Click Tools tab|Options|Documents|Spreadsheets|Warnings.
2. Select the check box for "Enable logging" under Audit trail logging.
Note: When this check box is selected, Statistica maintains a log of all changes made to the spreadsheet. These options do not apply to all newly created Statistica Spreadsheets; they do apply to spreadsheets created via File - New, File or Data - Get External Data, Data - Merge, and Data - Sort. They also apply to spreadsheets created by analysis modules, Statistica Enterprise, and imported files.
3. Optional: Select the check box for "Require user comments for changes" when desired.
4. Click OK.
The third option impacts only newly created spreadsheets. This option enables Audit trail for Spreadsheets created from Enterprise (Data/analysis configurations) and new spreadsheets created in new Statistica sessions.
Note: this option overwrites the second option for newly created spreadsheets from Enterprise objects. 1. Under Enterprise|System Options|Spreadsheet.
2. Under Audit trail, select the check box for "Enabled" and (Optional) the check box for "Prompt to enter reason to change".
3. Commit the change.
