This article discusses the way the Studio is managed per user in Windows.
Resolution
See the active studio.properties file under: C:\Users\<your windows userid>\.compositesw\studio.properties
You will see that file is updated each time you use the Studio.
You may notice another copy under <your install dir>\conf\studio which hasn't been touched since your Studio was first installed. That is the legacy copy that is no longer in effect in TDV (aka Spotfire ADS) version 7.0.x.
