In Statistica interactive Kaplan-Meier product limit analysis module under menu "Statistics > Advanced Models", user can directly specify the "censoring indicator" and "Survival times" in the Variables selection option in the analysis dialog.
However, in the Kaplan Meier Product Limit analysis workspace node, the variable selection has only "Dependent" and "Predictor".
User can specify the Survival times variable as "Dependent", but Not the censoring indicator as "Predictor".
Specifying censoring indicator as "Predictor" will lead to errors, such as, "Categorical variables not supported in this type of analysis", or "This analysis expects a censoring variable" if leave "Predictor" empty without specifying censoring variable.
User needs to click on "Advanced" tab, and specify the censoring variable and the censoring code from there, and leave the "Predictor" empty as it is.
