When integrating R with Statistica, it is important to be aware of the version of R installed on the system.

For Statistica 12.5, the newest version of R that can be integrated is R 3.0.3.

For Statistica 12.6, newer versions of R can be integrated (including R 3.1.1).

For Statistica 12.7, R versions 2.13.0 through 3.1.3 can be used.

For Statistica 13.0, 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3, R version 2.13.0 through 3.2.1 can be used.

For Statistica 13.4,  R version 3.2.1

For Statistica 13.5, R version 3.2.1

For Statistica 14.0,  R version 3.6.1

If you already have R installed with matching version of the Statistica version, you don't need to install it again.
