Why does WebStatistica Dashboard Alarm fail to refresh?

Description
When the Enterprise Dashboard changes its status, which is indicated by the color change in its icon, the status of the corresponding WebStatistica Dashboard will auto-sync.
However, WebStatistica Dashboard viewing requires a constant connection to the Statistica Server. If that is lost (e.g. wifi connection lost), it will cause the alarm check to stop working. Because it is doing a round trip to the Statistica server to get the information by the underlying mechanism. And if the connection goes out for around 10 mins, it will cause a logout. If the JavaScript and Popup are enabled in the WebStatistica browser, it will generate an alarm when there is ever a timeout.
Issue/Introduction
This article explains the functionality of the "Refresh" button in WebStatistica Dashboard Alarm and what could lead to alarms not updating
Resolution
When the dashboard is requesting an update of alarm information from the server, it is asking for a short running process (WebStatistica process named as "Statcf"). If all available short running processes are used, it won't get through and no message will be sent. As such, the Web dashboard interface will assume that nothing has changed and will be not synchronized with Enterprise. The typical cause is either the client is losing connection to the server and the request is not being placed. Or the server is overloaded with short running jobs (by other WebStatistica jobs) and can not process the request fast enough.
