Description

The iProcess Decision Server 5.4.1 has been installed on a Windows 2012 R2 machine. The Decisions server / PAS has been registered as a Windows Service, however the Service fails to start.
 

Issue/Introduction

The iProcess Decision Server 5.4.1 has been installed on a Windows 2012 R2 machine. The Decisions server / PAS has been registered as a Windows Service, however the Service fails to start.

Environment

TIBCO iProcess Decisions Server 5.4.1 Windows Server 2012 R2

Resolution

The service is created and includes the java option -d64

The java option should be -D64

To resolve this:

1). Start regedit.

2). Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Prorun 2.0\corticon\Parameters\Java .

3). Edit the "Options" key.

4). In the list of Java options, replace -d64 with -D64

5). Exit regedit.

The Windows service should start correctly.
