TIBCO iProcess Engine (Oracle)
11.6.0, 11.6.1, 11.7.0
Description
Shortly after initiating the iProcess Engine installation by invoking the 'swinstall' script a prompt may appear to install network related tools.
For example:
"Please install rpcbind and nfs-common packages and make sure rpcinfo -p command works"
or
"Please install net-tools package and make sure netstat command works"
Followed by:
"Please fulfill the pre-requirements and try again"
The cause of the message is since iProcess Engine version 11.6 some prerequisite checks have been added at the start of the installation script to ensure required network tools are available during the installation.
The messages may be displayed as a result of the script trying to run a test using 'rpcinfo' or 'netstat'.
If the 'rpcinfo' or 'netstat' utilities cannot be invoked the messages will be displayed. This may be because the location of the utility is not part of the PATH environment variable for the user performing the installation.
