=====

Issue/Introduction

"unable to create INITIAL extent for segment in tablespace XYZ" error seen in logs when saving Deployment Area

Environment

All supported environments Database: Oracle

Resolution

This shows that there is not enough table space and it needs to be increased. This should be taken care of by the Database Administrator.

Note: This issue is also seen if the out-of-box Spotfire Database scripts were not run as documented to create table spaces and schemas. It is highly recommended to run the scripts as recommended in the Spotfire Server installation manuals.
