Description

When using either the Windows Login button or by explicitly entering credentials manually, the following error occurs:

GetSpecialPage error

Known Causes

  • Service Account user temp folder doesn't exist

Environment

OS: Windows

Resolution

1.  Find the user running the WebStatistica Service by opening Services
2.  Right-click the WebStatistica service>>Properties>>Log On tab
3.  Note the account:

WebStatistica Log On user

4.  Go to  C:\Users\svcaccount\AppData\Local
5.  If the Temp folder does not exist, then add the folder so it looks like the following:

All users should now be able to login to Statistica Server (WebStatistica).
