Closed Issues in 6.2.1.hotfix1 (This Release)
HK-8216
Added support for multiple LDAP groups. These can be configured in
hawkconsole.cfg against the property -ldap_groupDN separated by
pipe(|) operator.
HK-8217
Some EMS topics used in Hawk 6.2.1 did not follow the
correct format which was to start the topic name with HAWK_. This
caused issues when topic restrictions were set in the topic.conf
file in the EMS. All EMS topic names used in Hawk now have same
format.
HK-8219
The column size for rule name was short and caused an issue while
displaying alerts in the Hawk Console. The length of column name for
rule name, test name and test action has been increased. The sql
scripts executed to create the schema are now available under sql
directory in config directory. Hence the user can adjust the length
of columns as per their requirement.
HK-8223
Active alerts were marked as cleared when a domain was unregistered
and registered again. Starting from this release, the retransmitted
alerts will be replicated with the active state.
HK-8232
Domain and Agents were accessible to unauthorized users.
To fix this issue, the user access needs to be specified in
hawkconsole_user_access_list.cfg. This functionality has been
ported to the HawkConsole.
HK-8233
HawkConsole did not work if only the Hawk Console component was
installed. This issue occurred because of missing JAR files which
are now a part of the installation package.
HK-8237
The Tomcat JARs included in the Hawk 6.2.1 installation package had
security vulnerabilities. To fix this issue, Tomcat JARs have been
updated.
HK-8242
Some Hawk Metric Collectors did not work correctly if all the
arguments were left blank.
HK-8247
There was no search field in the Rulebases tab to search for a
particular rulebase. The search field in the Rulebase tab has
been added.
HK-8254
Hawk Metrics Collector could not be imported or deployed to other
Hawk agents if the argument names had space between words.
HK-8257
Hawk Metric Collector logs did not send the original IP address
of the Hawk Agent when sending logs.
HK-8258
Hawk Collector did not send information about Hawk Domain
and Hawk Agent to the Forwarder.
HK-8260
Some Hawk collectors were not initialized if the Hawk Agent was
restarted. Also, some Hawk Rulebase collectors were not
initialized if the Hawk Rulebase currently in use was undeployed
or deleted.
HK-8278
The HawkConsole did not support some of the SSL properties for
EMS transport such as ssl_no_verify, ssl_identity,
ssl_no_verify_hostname, ssl_ciphers. These properties are
now supported.
