Description: To troubleshoot run one of the two utilities: TestWordVer.exe or TestWordVer32.exe, attached. TestWordVer.exe is for users who have installed 64-bit Statistica. TestWordVer32.exe is for users who have installed 32-bit Statistica. They are diagnostics programs that follow the same exact steps that Statistica does when trying to insert a document into Word.
Cause: Usually Microsoft Word does not register itself correctly during the install. This is fixed in Statistica 13.4.

Follow these steps:
1. Download the TestWordVer.zip zipped file, attached to this knowledge base article at the bottom.
2. Right-click on the TestWordVer.zip file and select "Extract All..." to extract to a location of your choice
3. Double-click on the TextWordView.exe or TestWordView32.exe to run. TestWordView.exe is for 64 bit Statistica installs and TestWordView32.exe is for 32 bit Statistica installs.
4. The following dialog will appear:
5. Click on the "Full Test" button. If a Word document is created, then Word is registered and installed correctly. Skip the rest of the steps. Statistica should output to Word:
6. If no Word document is created in step #5 above, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and send information to technical support :
