Description

When saving a spreadsheet in PDF format (Home-->Down arrow under the Save icon-->"Save as PDF"), the following error occurs:

Save as PDF under Home-->Save
PDF functionality message

Environment

Windows operating systems only.

Resolution


Uninstall the following from Control Panel-->Programs and Features:
  • novaPDF 8 Printer Driver
  • Statistica PDF
  • novaPDF 8 SDK COM (x64 or x86)

Un-install the 3 components of the Statistica PDF driver


Re-install the Statistica PDF driver by following the steps here:    https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-make-Statistica-PDF-v8-appear-in-Devices-and-Printers

Verify that if you open Control Panel >> Hardware and Sound>>Devices and Printers that Statistica PDF is listed as shown below :
