Yes, TIBCO does support old versions of TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA). However, TIBCO encourages customers to plan TRA upgrade whenever a new release is announced. There is a good reason for upgrading TRA when a new release is announced. If, for instance, a defect is identified in an old TRA version, our ability to fix the defect in the old version might be limited and hence we might only consider fixing it in a newer TRA release. So, if your environment is using TRA 5.10.0 or 5.10.1 and a defect is identified in either one, TIBCO product engineering might only fix the defect in TRA 5.10.2 and hence you will be forced to upgrade then, especially if the defect is of high impact.
Q2: When (or under what condition) would TIBCO end support of an old version of TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA)?

According to KB article 000041315, the following versions of TRA will be removed from the regular TIBCO Software distribution channels as of November 30, 2020, i.e. they will not be available for download past Nov 30, 2020. Those versions will not be distributed under any circumstances after March 31, 2021, and they include the following:
- TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.11.0
- TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.10.1 and 5.10.0
- TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.9.x and earlier
Only TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.11.1 and 5.10.2 (and future releases) shall remain available for download after March 31, 2021.
