Resolution

Saving a stand-alone spreadsheet in PDF format

1.  Open any spreadsheet.  In the example below, 10items.sta is opened from Open-->Open Examples-->Examples-->Datasets folder
2.  Using the ribbon bar, on the Home tab, click the down arrow under the Save icon and select "Save As PDF"

1.  Open any graph.  In the example below, 3D Surface Plot.stg is opened from Open-->Open Examples-->Examples-->Graphs folder
2.  Using the ribbon bar, on the Home tab, click the down arrow under the Save icon and select "Save As PDF"

1.  Open any report
2.  Using the ribbon bar, on the Home tab, click the down arrow under the Save icon and select "Save As PDF"
3.  Click the "Save" button

Saving a graph from a Workbook in PDF format

I.  Via Viewer (on the right side of the Workbook)

1.  Right-click on the graph and select "Save Graph"
2.  Select "Save as type" and select  "PDF Files (*.pdf)
3.  Click the "Save" button

II.  Via workbook node (left side of Workbook)

1.  Right-click on the desired graph node to be saved in PDF format (left side of Workbook)
2.  Select "Save as type" and select  "PDF Files (*.pdf)
3.  Click the "Save" button

III.   Via extracting as a stand-alone graph from a Workbook

Note:  "Save as PDF" is not available in the Ribbon Bar Menu or Classic Menu from within a Workbook.

I.  Via Workbook Node (left side of the Workbook)

1.  Right-click on the desired spreadsheet node to be saved in PDF format (left side of Workbook)
2.  Select "Save as type" and select  "PDF Files (*.pdf)
3.  Click the "Save" button

II.   Via extracting as a stand-alone spreadsheet from a Workbook

1.  Right-click on the desired spreadsheet node to be saved in PDF format (left side of Workbook)
2.  Select "Extract as a stand-alone window" --> Copy
3.  In the extracted spreadsheet, select the drop-down arrow under Home-->Save and click "Save as PDF"

Saving a Report in PDF format

1.  In the Home tab, select the drop down arrow below the Save icon
2.  Select "Save as PDF"
3.  Choose output options, if available.  In this example, spreadsheets can be saved as objects as sized in the report or as full-sized spreadsheets.
4.  Click the "Save" button

Issue/Introduction

Only reports, graphs, and spreadsheets can be saved as PDF files. This article will show the steps to do this.
