If a WebStatistica administrator would like to view active user sessions in WebStatistica,
then the below instructions can help.


Prerequisite: User should be a part of group SWS_ADMIN.

Issue/Introduction

How to view active users for a session in Webstatistica?

Resolution

In Webstatistica Portal's left pane navigate to the section named " For Administrator" and expand the same

Under this section, click on " Sessions" to view the currently active sessions of Webstatistica. Under this section, we will also following information about the User.
  • User name
  • Login time
  • User permission
  • An option to logout any specific user.

To expand more on the User permission :

  1. Admin : Will be administrate sessions, jobs and scheduled task of all users in addition to functionality of all groups above.

  2. Script : Able to Create Run/Schedule Scripts on the server

  3. U/L (Upload) : Will be able to upload files from the local workstation instance to the application server.

  4. D/L (Download) : Will be able to download files from the server to their local workstation instance.

  5. Batch :  Will be able to schedule analysis and reports in WebStatistica. The user should to be part of SWS_USER in addition to this permission.

  6. Knowledge portal/ Interactive Portal :  these users will be directed to a simplified interface where they can view output pages published to the Portal directory in the Repository Root. The user will see all files that were added to the portal via the the publish button at the bottom of every analysis run in WebStatistica or files uploaded explicitly to the portal.  The members of this group will only see everything that was published to the Portal.
