Important changes to TIBCO Cloud Integration

TIBCO Cloud Integration’s (TCI) Connect capability is powered by Scribe Online. We are making Connect a standalone capability and removing it from TIBCO Cloud in 2024.

This direction allows us to focus on our API-led and Event-driven Applications in TIBCO Cloud and our existing Scribe Online user base more effectively and efficiently. Users can expect to see dedicated features and continued support for both products.

What’s Next? Actions Needed by You :

• Log into your existing TCI account and look for the pop-up guide notifying you of the transition to TIBCO Scribe Online (example below).  
• All guides related to Scribe Standalone can be found in the resource center in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. 
• Reset your password to access Scribe Online. If you have access to multiple environments, you’ll need to reset your password for each environment.
• Check out the table below to learn about which Scribe Online environment you should log into based on your TIBCO Cloud environment. 

Logging into TIBCO Scribe Online :

Once you reset your password, you will use this password to log into TIBCO Scribe Online. Resetting your password for Scribe Online does not change your password to log into TIBCO Cloud/TIBCO Cloud Integration. 

Users with Scribe API access do not need to reset their passwords to access TIBCO Scribe Online, instead use that same password. However, if you are an admin and need to reset your password either use the appropriate link above or follow these instructions in TCI:

1. Navigate to Integration → Environment & Tools Tab
2. Click on the Security Settings Section
3. Now change your API Password on the left side navigation. 

Important information about these changes :

• It's recommended to make changes to your Account, Org, or Solutions in TIBCO Scribe Online. Changes made in TIBCO Cloud Integration may not be reflected in TIBCO Scribe.
• Users with access to multiple data centers will need to reset their password for each region to access Scribe Online.

Known Issues :

• Data Synch between TCI + Scribe 

  • SCCORE-9698 - Organizational setting changes made in TIBCO Cloud Integration may not be reflected in TIBCO Scribe.

• Read Only TCI Users

  • SCCORE-9680 - Read-Only user cannot open a map in V2 UI.
