TIBCO Cloud Integration’s (TCI) Connect capability is powered by Scribe Online. We are making TCI - Connect a standalone capability and removing it from TIBCO Cloud in 2024. This direction allows us to focus on our API-led and Event-driven Applications in TIBCO Cloud and our existing Scribe Online user base more effectively and efficiently. Users can expect to see dedicated features and continued support for both products. For more details click here.

FAQ
- How does this affect my account/solutions?
- Your account and solutions will remain the same. The only change is that you will be logging into Scribe Online instead of TCI to access your TCI-Connect apps/ Scribe Solutions.
- How are Solutions and Apps different?
- Solutions and Apps are the same. In TCI, integrations are called Apps and in Scribe Online, they are called Solutions.
- What does the process look like to switch to Scribe Online? Will it be similar to the migration from Scribe Online to TCI?
- The switch to Scribe Online is different than the switch to TCI some users went through. Users will be prompted within TCI with instructions on how to access Scribe Online. Once a user has gained access and logs into Scribe Online, they will see all of their TCI-Connect Apps(solutions). For a short period, users will see their apps (solutions) in both TCI and Scribe Online. We will notify users of the timeline when they can no longer access their connect apps(solutions) from TCI.
- What are the differences between TIBCO Cloud Integration and Scribe Online?
- TIBCO Cloud provides a variety of capabilities offered by TIBCO, such as Integration (TCI) and API Management. TCI has three capabilities, Connect (powered by Scribe Online), Integrate (BusinessWorks), and Develop (Node.js and Flogo). We will be moving the Connect capability to a standalone product offering, TIBCO Scribe Online, and eventually removing that capability from TCI.
- The capabilities for Connect will remain the same or similar (such as Marketplace, Execution History, and the Designer). However, capabilities for Develop and Integrate Apps will not be available in Scribe Online.
- Why are the login URLs the same for the US and EU data centers?
- Although the front-end URL is the same, our back-end infrastructures of these data centers are separated. You can find a complete set of details on the data centers here.
- Will TIBCO Scribe Online add SSO?
- SSO is not available for Scribe Online but it is a feature we are considering in the future.
- Will the users migrating from TCI impact the performance of Scribe Online? Will there be any disruptions?
- The migration should not impact the performance of Scribe Online or cause any disruptions. If you do come across an issue, log a support ticket.
- What are the changes for billing regarding these two services? What is the pricing for these two services?
- Your current subscription will not be modified. Upon renewal, we’ll present you with an option to continue working with Scribe Online and with TIBCO Cloud Integration (Flogo, Node.js, BusinessWorks).
- What’s the timeline for removing Scribe Online from TIBCO Cloud Integration?
- TIBCO Cloud Integration-Connect will be removed from TIBCO Cloud Integration at the end of February 2024 (Q1). If you have further questions about the transition, reach out to TIBCO Support at https://support.tibco.com.
- How will my data be impacted by this migration?
- Moving to Scribe Online will not impact your data. However, it is recommended to make changes to your Account, Org, or Solutions in TIBCO Scribe Online. Changes made in TIBCO Cloud Integration may not be reflected in TIBCO Scribe.
