TIBCO Cloud Integration - Connect ( Scribe ) | 1.3.1 |
The v1.3.1 patch for the TIBCO Scribe Online Connector for Oracle Database added a number of new features and bug fixes (release notes), however, it also changed the underlying Oracle Database provider.
With this provider change, there were performance improvements in some operations and degradation in other operations.Due to the performance changes, we have chosen to lock existing TIBCO Scribe Organizations in the previous version for 90 days. This 90-day window gives you time to test the latest patch (if you choose to) and refine your Solutions for improved performance if needed.
All Organizations will receive the latest patch on April 22nd, 2020.

Best Practice Test Cases
We suggest these test cases for proper testing of Oracle Database connector patch:
Connection Properties - Recreate/Test your connection with the exact same connection properties and Agent/Agent location. Ensure the connection test is successful.
Table and Field Metadata - Import existing Maps and reassign to your new Oracle Database connection. Ensure there are no validation errors in your Maps.
Update or Delete Block performance - Import existing Maps that regularly use Update Blocks on executions greater than 1,000 records. Ensure performance is satisfactory, otherwise, ensure best-practices are implemented (see below).
